Since February 2025, our Retrofit programme has delivered a total investment of over £4.184 million.

This funding has gone directly into improving energy efficiency, sustainability, and modernising our facilities to deliver warmer, healthier and more affordable homes.

328 properties fitted with solar panels

66 properties fitted with high heat retention electric storage heaters

85 properties fitted with air source heat pump

25 properties having loft insulation top ups

10 properties fitted with cavity wall insulation

A central aim of the programme is to ensure benefits are felt by you, our tenants and not just measured technically. Following the installations tenants are reporting savings between 50% and 75%, we spoke to four tenants who shared their experience of recent retrofit works.

We will continue the delivery of planned retrofit measures this year, aiming to upgrade 700 homes and explore additional grant and partnership opportunities to scale retrofit activity where we can.

For us the Retrofit programme is not only an investment in buildings, but an investment in people.

“It’s been the first winter after the works were completed and the house is so much warmer. My energy bills have gone from around £8 a day to £4–£4.50 a day. I can’t thank you all enough for having the works completed.”
