Kirklea Place, Wigtown

Kirklea Place is nestled in a quiet corner of Wigtown and benefits from beautiful extended views over the Wigtownshire countryside, with an impressive view of the historic county building clock tower. Wigtown is a very popular town, especially in late September, when it hosts an annual book festival.  Wigtown has a church and chapel, post office, supermarket, and a number of small shops and cafes. A regular bus service provides accessible transport to surrounding villages and towns, with all the amenities of Newton Stewart only 6-miles away, so its always possible to enjoy a great day out with family and friends.

The development consists of 12 one-bedroom bungalows and a 2-bedroom bungalow, each of which have their own front door and a small front garden.

A Later Living Officer visits the scheme twice a week and is available 5 days a week via telephone, to deal with any resident queries or concerns.  Should emergency assistance be needed, all residents have emergency call facilities via inbuilt assistive technology.
