Exciting opportunity for tenants of social landlords

Would you like to make positive changes to the future of social housing?

If you live in social housing and are passionate about improving the services provided by Scottish social landlords, then this opportunity may be for you.

Individuals from all walks of life are encouraged to apply for this voluntary position. You don't need any formal qualifications, training, or experience to become a Tenant Advisor, and will receive ongoing support from The Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR).

You'll be supporting the SHR by:

    • Testing landlord services
You'll act as a mystery shopper - assessing information and materials produced by landlords for their tenants
    • Reviewing SHR draft publications and website facilities
You'll help the SHR to make sure material is both accessible and user friendly
    • Asking other service users for their views
This will give the SHR a direct perspective to add to other regulatory evidence

If you're keen to make a difference to RSL and Local Authority housing, visit http://tis.org.uk/shr-volunteer-tenant-advisors/

The closing date for applications is 10:00am on Monday 14th February 2022.
