Property Services Team Manager - Fixed Term
Location:
Dumfries & Galloway (primarily home based with some regional travel)
Salary range:
£40,409 - £46,856 + competitive benefits package
Hours:
12 months Maternity cover, working 35 hours each week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
About the role:
This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of both strategic and operational objectives across our Property Services Team. Supporting the Head of Property Services, you will lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of Property Officers and support roles, promoting self-management and accountability while maintaining high standards of performance, compliance and tenant satisfaction.
The role oversees the day-to-day management of planned, cyclical, compliance and investment programmes and has responsibility for the full asset lifecycle and the operational performance of property related contracts. You will champion continuous improvement and best practice in all areas of property services, driving positive outcomes for tenants and operational efficiency for the organisation.
As a leader in an operational role, there is a contractual requirement to participate in an out-of-hours on-call service (approx. 2-4 weeks each year), for which an additional payment is made. We are a remote workforce, which means the ability to work from home, in a suitable space, along with access to broadband is required. A driving licence and access to a vehicle will also be necessary.

Data Administration Assistant
Location:
Home based, with a requirement to regularly attend in person meetings and training events in Dumfries and other locations across the region.
Salary range:
£22,932 - £28,947 + competitive benefits package
Hours:
35 hours each week worked Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Volunteer Community Agent
Location: We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas to support our tenants and communities:
- Lockerbie
- Langholm
- Gretna/Eastriggs
- Sanquhar
- Thornhill/Penpont
- Moniaive
- Castle Douglas/Kirkcudbright
- Newton Stewart
- Whithorn
- Portpatrick
Hours: 1-2 hours per week
About the role:
This role will provide a confidential point of contact within their local community for tenants who require some support and assistance. This a rewarding role, suited to those who like to give back to their communities, providing a safe space for tenants to chat and receive information on appropriate agencies for further help and support.
What's really important is that you have a strong commitment to help your local community and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This role would be suited to anyone looking to give back to their community and equally, someone who may be looking to gain skills and experience within the housing or third sector and charitable sector.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a good listener
- Be comfortable signposting to appropriate agencies
- Liaise with Loreburn’s Sustaining Communities and Neighbourhood Officers.
- Be able to provide up to 2 hours per week of their time
