We understand that having a house that meets your needs has a positive impact on your health, privacy and dignity.

The Care & Repair team offer personal, financial and technical support to those facing the task of adapting a home which is no longer suitable due to changing health needs.

The service is available to anyone over the age of 60, and disabled people of any age, who are home owners, owner occupiers or private tenants and require adaptations to their home to allow them to live more independently.

Examples of work that we have been involved with include:

    • Wet floor / level access showers

    • Wash-dry toilets

    • Outside Ramps

    • Stair lifts

    • Hoists

The team can guide you through the whole process - from an initial visit to discuss what work is required, to helping you complete grant applications and select appropriate contractors. Care & Repair is a personal service which puts you in control of decisions.
